Hello May - Cushion Launch Month

I can’t believe that as I write this week’s blog it is 1^st May already.

It seems like no time at all since we were packing up the Christmas decorations, heading into 2026 and the slightly depressing thought of the dark, cold, short days of January and February. In those months we think the longer Spring and Summer days seem a long way away but now we’re here and have been enjoying some fabulous weather lately which I am so happy about as it means I have been able to spend time gardening.

This month I have some exciting plans to put into action with the launch of our patchwork cushion collection. I have designed the collection with heritage crafts in mind and with early patchwork examples dating back to the 18^th century it was the ideal starting point for inspiration.

I have sourced some fabulous packs of mini charm fabric for the patchwork from The Sewing Studio. These pre-cut packs are perfect for making these cushions with each one cut to exactly the same size ensuring all the corners match up perfectly when putting them all together.

These patchwork editions are just the start of this new line of products for us and there will be more to follow.

I have kicked this off with small versions which measure 20cm x 20cm. This small size makes it an ideal addition to any room and mixes well with other soft furnishings. They will be available for sale soon so look out for launch details.
