Welcome to my shop, I’m Fiona, founder and chief creator of Pauline Gillies design. The cuter one in this photo is my Lhasa Apso, Arnie, who can usually be found at my feet while I am working.

 

Why Pauline Gillies and not use my own name?

 

Answering that is a simple one. Pauline and Gillies are my parents’ names and well, they’re the inspiration and support for all I have achieved already and what I still want to do. Plus – I always thought the two together made a great name and one I’d want to adopt if I had my own business and that is how Pauline Gillies Design was born.

By day I work in marketing but I love crafts and being creative so at night and at weekends I can usually be found with a crochet hook in hand or working up some designs on the sewing machine. Pauline Gillies Design is an outlet for me to promote the beauty of handmade goods and sell some of my creations - well there is only so much I can make for myself. ​

Pauline Gillies Design is a range of handmade hats, accessories, seasonal goods and baby clothes. More stock will be added regularly..
